As we approach the end of the year, it is the perfect time to look back and reflect on the blessings that we have received. Every experience in life is an opportunity to express our gratitude. Obviously, it is easier to be happy and feel grateful when things are going well. However, it is important to keep an attitude where we see all our experiences as blessings. For example, any hardships that we experience in our life, give us the opportunity to grow in faith, to be more creative as we look for solutions, to learn to ask for help, and to be willing to accept and do our part. Adversities in life can make us bitter or better. It is our choice.
I believe that difficulties in life always push us to grow, to learn, to forgive, to accept, to have more compassion, to be more humble, to increase our faith, to love more, and to be more conscious of our choices.
The more we are willing to count our blessings, the more we are opening the doors of gratitude, which in turn attracts positive experiences in our life. I encourage you to take the time to reflect on this year experiences:
- Count every experience as a blessing
- Be willing to recognize the great blessings you have received like money, recognition, friendships, support and advancement in your career, more inner peace and joy.
- Think about how any hardships have helped you to become a better person. Maybe you have become a more forgiven, patient, loving, trusting, and open person.
- Recognize your commitment and the effort you have put to become a better person.
- Recognize the support you have received from your Creator, from friends and family, and maybe strangers.
- Celebrate the ways you have helped others, maybe with your generosity, as a volunteer, serving, helping, and giving.
- Set up the intention to maximize the gift you are receiving of a brand new year and commit to giving your very best every day.
- Most importantly celebrate your life and the opportunity you have every day to create, to help, to discover, to enjoy, to be grateful and to do great things.
